Allen Dicharry - Founder/Owner, Professional Home Inspector

Danñette and I have been married since 2001 and we have two sons. I’ve lived in Midland, TX since 1999. I enjoy travelling around the country and the world, ultralight backpacking, fishing, and physical fitness (although it may not always look like I do!) I play several instruments and love music. I also enjoy philosophy, theology, reading books, watching nature documentaries, all things Marvel, the art of beard care, and (when I don’t have a beard) the art of traditional wet shaving.

Throughout my life, I have been exposed to and worked in a variety of residential construction contexts - from remodeling to new construction to flipping houses. I also have a background in healthcare and pastoral ministry. With my experience in remodeling and flipping houses, I usually know what’s wrong with a house and what it takes to fix it. I’m also a detail-oriented person with a passion for quality and doing things right. From my experience in healthcare and pastoral ministry, I understand the challenge of helping people think clearly and realistically when they are making tough decisions. This combination of technical knowledge, attention to details, and a desire to help people have shaped me into an inspector you can trust to get the job done well, work hard, be honest, do the right thing, and take care of people.

I am a native Midlander who moved back to Midland after spending several years living, working, and recreating in Oregon and Utah where I hiked, climbed big mountains, camped off grid, skied deep powder, and spent as much time in National Parks as I could. My first backpacking trip was in 2015 when I successfully conquered the 2,200+ miles of the Appalachian Trail over 6 months. In my spare time, I like taking road trips with my dog Jackson, watching premier league soccer, fishing, traveling, drinking a good cup of coffee, trying new restaurants and breweries, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.

Prior to becoming a home inspector, I spent 10 years doing residential remodeling and repair work, which gives me a keen eye for spotting deficiencies and a real-world understanding of what it takes to make repairs. I also understand that buying real estate can a stressful process. I am passionate about delivering an inspection experience that will not only give you a better understanding of the home you’re looking to purchase but also take some of the stress out of the home buying process.

Born and raised in Midland, I’ve had an interest in business and investing since a very young age. I’m a licensed REALTOR®️ with additional education in appraisal but a creative soul at heart with way too many passions — gardening, DIY projects, interior design, photography, media, music, healthy living and learning new skills, to name a few. I love animals and have always had a heart for those in need, including my rescue dog Jaxon and pet sparrow Chili. When it’s time to relax, I love being at home creating something, tending to my plants and binge-listening to teachings and podcasts on Youtube.

In my current role, I draw on my experience in Real Estate and Customer Service, combined with my natural eye for detail and design. When you call or text us to schedule an inspection or ask a question, I’m here to help! I understand that the home-buying process can be both overwhelming and exciting so I’m here to make the first step of scheduling your home inspection as smooth and stress-free as possible. Behind the scenes, I collaborate closely with our inspectors, managing social media, invoicing, administrative tasks, brand awareness, and customer relations. My goal is to ensure that our clients, their hardworking REALTORS®️ and our team of inspectors are all satisfied and able to perform at their best.
